Summary

Hapoel Eilat

Hapoel Eilat currently at the 9th position with a record of 10-13 is coming from two positive results against Nes Ziona 103-89 and 90-82 Maccabi Haifa. Rafi Menco, Ziv Ben-Zvi together with the newcomers Devon Scott and Jordan Caroline have developed an awesome quartet and obviously are a threat for any team at this point. These four players are actually producing the 82% of the overall team, their synthesis proved to be unique and Coach Elfassi needs to be quite proud, especially if they add another positive result against last seated and not so strong Maccabi Ashdod.

Maccabi Ashdod

Maccabi Ashdod is coming from two negative results with quite big deficit (-32 against all mighty Maccabi Tel Aviv and -18 against Nahariya, currently at the last position with a poor record of 4-19 it doesn’t seem to be a real thread. The newcomers Zac Couthbertson, JR Holder, Al’ Lonzo Coleman, Dolev Drapic, Dor Goldenberg and Efi Tyomkin are not exactly steady players, and can’t give the something extra needed to the team of Coach Greenberg, as players like Ike Ofeogbu (11 points and 6 rebounds), Stuart Douglas (8 points, 3 rebound, 3 assists, 1 steal) and Elijah Johnson (14 points, 4 rebound, 2.7 assists,1.4 steals) used to be a bit more solid players than the newcomers…

Hapoel Eilat missing players: Raziel Hayun, Ido Harel, Geoffrey Gray, Jonathan Skjoldebrand
Hapoel Eilat questionable players: Jahmar Young, Yarden Ashkenazi
Maccabi Ashdod missing players: Oded Brandwein, Stuart Douglas, Ike Ofeogbu, Elijah Johnson
Maccabi Ashdod questionable players: Lior Eliyahu, Tomer Levinson
